T&K Papercut

Commissioned papercut for a Florida based couple, whose initials are K and T. The client chose a floral patterned backing paper and requested that the state of Florida be embellished with oranges and orange blossoms.

80lb paper hand-cut with X-acto knife. 11in x 14in Framed area.


Ketubah Papercut

The client commissioned this papercut Ketubah, a Jewish prenuptial agreement. Text was provided by the couple. They wanted the ketubah to contain symbols of the Pacific Northwest, specifically Whidbey Island, where their marriage was to take place, and an overall feel of the nature, love, and grandeur that the region provides.

Ketubah frequently use imagery of trees and roots and autumnal details. I was compelled to further include the mountains and water, as well as imagery within the bark of the tree. (Whidbey island itself,, an orca whale and other sea life, a dragonfly.)


A&S Papercut

A papercut made for the wedding celebration of Andrea and Simon, a couple with a love for Nicaragua. Flower embellishments and paper backing color designed to match their existing wedding invitations.

This hand made paper cut was designed to match the invitations (seen here) and for the couple to have something bright and commemorative of their big day.
